Future Perfect Continuous Form : ( Will + have + been + verb + -ing )

In English we use the future perfect continuous to talk about actions that will continue up until a point in the future.

Notes for use of future perfect continuous : 

As with other continuous verb forms, we don't usually use state verbs with the future perfect continuous.

Positive Examples of Future Perfect Continuous : 

• By the time we reach Portland, we'll have been driving for 6 hours.
• When my dinner guests arrive, I'll have been cooking for 3 hours.
• By this time next month, he'll have been working here for 12 years.

Negative Examples of Future Perfect Continuous : 

• By the time we get home, we won't have been walking for more than an hour.
• By this time next year, I won't have been learning English for more than 2 years.
• When my doctor asks me tomorrow, I won't have been drinking for 6 months.

Question Examples of Future Perfect Continuous : 

• By the end of the week, how long will you have been working on this project?
• When you retire next month, how long will you have been working for the company?
• By this time next week how long will she have been travelling?
